Five points to make

1

The qualification is the international standard, not a certificate

The GRP® and CCP® are awarded by WorldatWork. Over 93% of Fortune 500 organisations rely on WorldatWork certifications for their Rewards work. There is no competing accreditation in the field.

2

It takes two mornings a month, not three years

The standard route is 10 courses and 10 corresponding exams, completed at your own pace, usually over two to three years. The Academy covers the syllabus in nine courses, one a month, each taught over two mornings or two afternoons, and the exams are sat online when the candidate is ready.

3

The content is usable before the exam is sat

Course and exam content taps the insights and experiences of expert practitioners and experienced consultants. Market pricing, variable pay design and compensation analytics are taught as they are practised.

4

A whole function can be brought to one level

The Academy began as a programme for one company’s 50-strong international Rewards team, and it is still bought that way. Teams come out with a shared vocabulary and a common baseline of knowledge.

5

Your peers are already there

Sixty leading international companies have sponsored the programme and have sent over 400 of their Rewards professionals. Novo Nordisk founded it with us in 2018; IKEA hosts classroom weeks at its Malmö headquarters.

The fee includes

All course material; attendance at all nine courses, in classroom, online, or a combination of both; all nine exams; free WorldatWork membership for one year; and personal tutoring as needed.

It does not include

Travel and accommodation are not included. UK VAT is not applicable.

What it costs in time

One course a month, for nine months. Each is taught over just two mornings, or two afternoons, so the programme sits alongside a full-time Rewards role. Participants may move between the morning and afternoon sessions to suit their own schedule, and may attend any or all of the Amsterdam classroom weeks.

If more than one person goes

The Academy was designed for a whole Rewards function, not for individuals, and most sponsor companies still buy it that way. Alan quotes for teams directly.

“We continue to use the programme as the foundation of Rewards education and certification for our teams worldwide, and commend it to you without reservation.”
